How to make low-carb popcorn
Our homemade keto popcorn recipe is crispy, crunchy and seriously yummy, and tastes like cheese puffs. After you taste these you won’t believe how low in carbs they are. This recipe from Yummy Keto Cooking is made with just 2 or 3 ingredients, it’s easy to make and delicious in taste. This cheesy keto popcorn recipe can be enjoyed with friends and a nice mug of keto coffee.
Keto Popcorn Ingredients
- 1 cup cheddar cheese
- ⅓ tsp sea salt
- 2/4 tsp sweet corn extract, optional
Step by step instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 Fahrenheit (175 Celsius)
- Place a baking sheet on a baking tray.
- Cut the cheese into small cubes and place them in a bowl. Let the cheese dry out for at least 24 hours by leaving them in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
- On the following day, take them out and sprinkle the sea salt and the sweet corn and blend the mixture.
- Bake them in the oven for 5-10 minutes until they look puffy.
- After taking them out of the oven, leave them to cool down before serving.
