What are low carb keto bagels made of?

How to make keto everything bagels

Making these treats will require less than ten ingredients. Crazy, right? Using basic ingredients that you probably already have in your kitchen cabinet, you can enjoy the best keto everything bagels from the comfort of your own home.

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 2 eggs, large
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp dried Italian herb seasoning
  • 1/2 – 1 cup cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp Everything bagel seasoning
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder (optional)

Step by step instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 Fahrenheit (190 Celsius). Place a non-stick baking paper on a baking sheet.
  2. Add the almond flour and all of the dry seasonings (except the everything bagel seasoning) in a large bowl and mix until it’s well combined.
  3. Take a second bowl and combine the mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese and cream cheese. Heat it in the microwave for a minute, stir it, and place it back in the microwave for another minute. Take it out and mix until it’s well combined.
  4. Crack an egg into the cheese mixture and fork whisk. Crack another egg in a separate bowl, fork whisk it and leave it on the side. You will use this later on to brush the bagels.
  5. Combine the flour mixture with the cheese/egg mixture and mix until you get a smooth dough.
  6. Cut the dough into six equal pieces and roll each piece into a ball. Make a hole in each piece by pressing your finger in the center of the ball. Apply the same technique to the rest of your dough balls.
  7. Place the bagels on the baking sheet and brush them with egg wash. Finally, sprinkle your Everything bagel seasoning and bake them in the middle of the oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
