Chocolate has always been one of my many cravings, and when I first turned to keto, I struggled with the idea of having to give it up. Luckily, I found out that I could continue to indulge in it and other treats such as my peanut butter brownies by simply altering my favorite recipes to make them keto-friendly.
After playing around in the kitchen, I came up with the perfect keto chocolate pudding that I’m sure you’ll love. This is a keto pudding with heavy cream yet a low-carb pudding that won’t throw you out of ketosis! Can it get any better?
Is chocolate keto?
Yes, chocolate can be a part of your diet, but only if you consume dark chocolate that contains a minimum of 70% cocoa solids. Also, you should only eat it in moderation. In other words, milk chocolate or anything high in saturated fats is a no-go!
How to make a Keto Chocolate Pudding Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 ½ – 2 cups Heavy cream
- 3 tbsp Cocoa powder
- ⅓ cup Sweetener
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
Step 1: Pour the heavy cream into a large bowl and whip it using a hand mixer until peaks start to form.
